Located inside a narrow alley in the center of Jakarta, Rumah Nipah is a 3 stories house with 15 units of boarding houses. Vertically, the height of each level is reduced by using mezzanines as part of the living space, preventing the project from towering in the middle of a modest neighborhood.
The communal space consists of a living space also used as a reception and dining area, also a main atrium formed from the opening of the stairs with a large opening, allowing natural light inside the house. Tenants’ personal space have different types of units with different kinds of space experience, suitable for a more personalized lifestyle.
