The already-made structure needed a more personalized touch with minimal intervention. A large communal table and a freestanding wash basin in the middle of the room signified a welcoming gesture and the possibility of hosting events with relatives and friends. The use of clear-finished raw plywood accentuated the existing white paint and large glass windows on two sides of the living space, creating a modest yet comfortable living space.

A foyer in the living room served as an extension of the bedroom, as a workspace or evening daybed. The bedroom was divided into a sleeping quarter and walk-in closet, both of which were also finished with raw plywood and wooden lattice for a warmer and more intimate feel.
